Im working as free lance designer for a customer, and he wants me to use OSD and MM trough the internet (normal 7M/512k dsl lines on both sides, so transfer rate is around 64 kb/sec). This make the daily work very boring due to internet latency, so I studied possible solutions. The "Cocreate" solution is the Multisite software, but it is really overpriced if compared to my year income (6000 euros for a permaent license, and each node requires its own license, so two licenses are needed for me and my custom ...

Have a look if the application looks for something on a network resource that does not longer exist (the application itself or something in the customization profile). About the delay on close: do you use MM or any other pdm software? May be that on the new workstation MM is configured to delete ownership on all parts at closing, while in the previous workstation it was not.About the persistence at screen after the application is closed, I saw something similar too, but just for a few seconds, not a minute ...
